History
Porcella Funeral Service, Inc. has been family owned & operated since its founding in 1886 in the North End of Boston. Growth began for the firm with a new location in the Beachmont section of Revere at the end of World War II. In 1977, the Porcella/Ciccarelli family acquired Bisbee Funeral Home in Saugus (est. 1902). As a result of this acquisition, the two firms merged.
Four generations of the Porcella/Ciccarelli family have faithfully served the people of Greater Boston and the North Shore. Our staff believes that every individual we service is entitled to respect and dignity, regardless of the funeral chosen. Our staff strives to assist in the memorialization of life. The directors and assisting staff work with you to personalize your arrangements so they are most meaningful to you. A funeral should reflect the personality and lifestyle of the individual. We encourage your thoughts, wishes & participation so that every detail is fulfilled.
Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home are members, by invitation, of Selected Independent Funeral Homes, an organization of independent funeral directors dedicated to the highest quality of care. We hope that our website will help you with your questions regarding funeral service. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
