Obituary

Of Saugus, formerly of No. Revere, Mr. Stephen M. Langone died at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Tuesday, April 23rd. He was the loving husband of Catherine (Curtis) Langone with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.

Born in Chelsea, Steve was the son of Joanne (Cahill) Maynard of Watertown and the late Michael A. Langone. Steve was one of the good ones. He was a man who was always willing to help others whenever and however he could without needing to being asked. He loved to garden and we will have him with us every year when his blueberries, strawberries, grapes, herbs, lemon, apple and pear trees come back.He was known as MacGyver of sorts, always finding a way to get things done when others couldn’t. He was a creative man; an artist, an inventor, a real jack of all trades. You could always count on him for a laugh and usually followed by a groan. (Oh Geeze!) He was an amazing Dad and was at his happiest getting down on the floor with his children, granddaughter, nieces and nephews playing, drawing, building forts, obstacle courses or mini water parks.

In addition to his wife and mother, Steve is survived by his two children, Anthony Langone of Weymouth and Christina Langone of Brooklyn, NY; his granddaughter, Hannah; his seven siblings, Joanne Langone of Atlanta, GA, Carol Moro of Mansfield, Michael Langone of Roxbury, Dianne Ventullo of Wakefield, Donna Frederick of Salem, NH, Linda DeNatale of Westford, and Ann Marie Zammuto of Billerica. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Final farewell to Stephen, Steve (hubby, babe, dad, daddio, G-pa, Geeze, the stick, brother, son). We will miss you so much, Love you forever & always.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve's memory can be made to the Arbor Day Foundation at shop.arborday.org or Pollinator Partnership at pollinator.org.
