SAUGUS—Mrs. Ruth A. (Lewis) Rogers, age 90, died on Friday, October 18th at her home in Saugus. She was the wife of the late Francis E. Rogers.
Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Anastasia (O’Keefe) Lewis. A devoted homemaker and mother, Mrs. Rogers raised her family in Everett before moving to Saugus. As a devout Catholic, she was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Saugus and previously at St. Theresa’s Parish in Everett.
She is survived by her five children, Robert F. Rogers and Jeanne Frassica of Danvers, Patricia A. Vecchione and her husband George of Everett, Francine A. Rogers and Anibal Teixeira of Peabody, Thomas K. Rogers of Saugus, James M. Rogers and his wife Ann Marie of Derry, NH; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Rogers is also survived by her beloved dogs, Reggie and Baxter.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, on Thursday, October 24th, 4-8 p.m. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday, October 25th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
