CHELSEA- Mr. Ronald B. Lovely died peacefully on September 1st. He was the loving husband of Beatrice (Hallmark) Lovely.
A lifelong resident of Chelsea, he was the son of John R. Lovely, Sr. of Chelsea and the late M. Flora (Sirois) Lovely. A musician and magician, Ron brought great joy and memories to many people. He especially enjoyed performing for children, known to them as Ronnie the Clown. He was a regular at the East Boston Pride Day, running the kids stage every year for over 15 years, his wife joined him the last few years. He was also known as the magician to the stars and performed for rock stars from A-Z as they toured through Boston. Thus developing friendships with many people all around the world. He wrote songs which these prominent friends appeared on, and produced several successful records and concerts for charity featuring world-famous musicians. He was a member of ASCAP and BMI. His hobbies and interests include: playing music (especially The Beatles) and writing music, going to concerts when his friends were touring Boston and going to the movies.
Besides his wife and father, Ronald is survived by his brother Richard Lovely and his wife Lorraine of Florida; sister, Dianne Landry and her husband Charles of New Hampshire. He was the brother of the late Jack and Robert Lovely. Ronald is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
SERVICE INFORMATION
Visiting hours will be held in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, on Sunday from 4-8 p.m. Relatives & friends invited. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St., Everett at noon. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
