Obituary

Of Melrose - Mr. Ralph M. Materese, age 68, died at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston on Tuesday, January 7th. He was the loving husband of Donna M. (Bono) Materese with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.

Born in Boston and raised in Melrose, Mr. Materese was the son of Angela (Erichiello) Materese of Melrose and the late Vito Materese. Ralph was a Building Maintenace Supervisor for all of the public buildings in the Town of Saugus for 24 years. He was a graduate of Melrose High School having just celebrated his 50th class reunion.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Materese is survived by his two children, Ginamarie Materese and Ralph Materese, Jr. both of Melrose along with his two grandpups, Saco and River.

SERVICE INFORMATION
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Friday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10 a.m. Interment Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
