Of Lynnfield, formerly of Saugus and East Boston. An invitation to the Simione home meant a warmhearted welcome, many laughs, and a delicious meal. The feast was always lovingly prepared by Mimi Simione who entered peacefully into eternal life on April 12, 2017. Mimi is the beloved wife to the late Jack Simione, and the mother to Amy (and husband Kim Garbarino), Beth (and husband Adam Bahret), and Meg. She is the dear sister to Ida Reppucci and Helen Buccheri. Her grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends filled her life with love and joy. Mimi was a passionate woman who was devoted to her family and faith; who served and volunteered selflessly. She was a strong supporter of the arts and music, as she believed that the arts could enrich and expand one's view of the world. Mimi prioritized kind acts and having a positive attitude as essential ingredients to living a fulfilled life. Relative and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass, Tuesday, April 18 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 758 Salem Street, Lynnfield at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute-Women's Cancers; Breast Cancer Fund.
