Saugus, formerly of Malden- Mrs. Lucy A. (Gentile) Spallone, age 95, died on Monday, February 13th at home. She was the loving wife of 71 years of Michael Spallone.

Born in New York City, New York and raised in the North End of Boston, she was the daughter of the late Rafael and Angelina (Zambrano) Gentile. She was a resident of Malden for many years before moving to Saugus where she has lived for the past 21 years.

Besides her husband, Lucy leaves her two daughters, Marie McCusker and her husband Mathew, Theresa Babine and her husband Edward, all of Saugus; five grandchildren, Michael, Mathew, Mark, Anthony and Michelle; 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one sister, Concetta Beraldi; two brothers, James and Samuel Gentile.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hallmark Hospice, 178 Savin Street, Suite 300, Malden, MA 02148.

Visiting hours will be held in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Friday from 4 -8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer Street, Saugus at 10 a.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Saugus.
