Saugus, formerly of East Boston, Mrs. Lillian L. (Ciampa) Moore, age 97, died at the Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody on Monday, April 9th. She was the wife of the late William E. Moore.
Born and raised in East Boston, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth (LoConte) Ciampa. Before her retirement, Lillian was a sales clerk for over 30 years at Sears in Saugus, starting from the day they first opened. She had been a Saugus resident since 1948.
Mrs. Moore was the beloved mother of William Moore and his wife Donna, Richard Moore all of Saugus, and the late Thomas Moore; cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; mother-in-law of Linda Moore of Upton. She was also predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Friday from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Saugus.
