Obituary

EAST BOSTON - Ms. Josephine D’Ettore, age 93 died on Sunday, June 16th at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home in Chelsea. She was the daughter of the late John and Concetta (Ranalli) D’Ettore.

Josephine had a long successful working career as an Administrative Assistant at Harvard University. She was an excellent cook and was very talented painting with water colors. She loved to travel visiting China, Italy and the Southwest. She especially enjoyed the company of family and friends.

She leaves her beloved brother Dominic D’Ettore of Danvers. She is also survived by Colette DiGenio, Dennis Curzi, Monica DiGenio, Daniel Johnson, Joseph DiGenio, George and Lisa DiGenio, Lorraine Carmichael, Barbara and Paul Jackson. Josephine was a doting aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Josephine’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend a funeral service in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Friday at noon. Visitation prior to service, 11 a.m. - noon. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
