LYNN, formerly of Malden - Mr. John R. Imbriano, Jr., age 80, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 14th at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Anita L. (DiGregorio) Imbriano with whom he shared over 57 years of marriage.
Born in Malden, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Maria (Moscaritolo) Imbriano. John was a graduate of Northeastern University. He worked as a Production Control Manager for RCA/GE Automated Systems and later worked for Hertz as a District Parts Manager. He was also actively involved with the West Lynn American Little League for many years. He enjoyed dancing, going to the casino, rooting for the Red Sox and Patriots, but above all, watching his grandchildren’s activities and sports. In addition, he was well known for his ability to fix anything.
In addition to his wife, John leaves his beloved children, Renee Mooney and her husband Francis of Hamden, CT, Greg Imbriano and his wife Julie of North Reading; three cherished grandchildren, Sean, Matthew and Kayla; his sister, Jean Sousa of Revere. He was the brother-in-law of Regina Barbuto of CO, John & Helen DiGregorio of FL and Linda DiGregorio of FL. He is predeceased by his brother Mario Imbriano and his sister, Katherine Moore. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus on Sunday, 3-7 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
