Saugus -- Mrs. Jennette R. (Bentley) Crowell, age 91, died on Tuesday, September 3rd at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Lloyd W. Crowell.
Mrs. Crowell was born on November 2nd, 1927, a lifelong resident of Saugus, and a resident of Bow Street for 67 years. She was the daughter of the late Edmund Earl and Henrietta (Briand) Bentley. She was a devoted wife and mother to 6 children who created and maintained a lovely home for her family. She was also a cake decorator for Lavino’s Bakery in Cliftondale Square for many years, and was a caregiver to two elderly ladies until she was 85 years old. Mrs. Crowell attended Pondview Adult Care and Saugus Senior Center on Wednesdays for Bingo.
Mrs. Crowell leaves four daughters, Christine Raimo and her husband the late Anthony, Karen Almeida and her husband Roger, Cynthia Tapley and her huband Dale, Carolyn Kelly and her husband Tom; son, Kevin Crowell; sister, Clara Van Cott; brother, Robert Bentley; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son Keith E. Crowell, two brothers, Earl and William Bentley, sister, Rita Knight, and her grandson, Christopher Tapley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Friday from 4-8pm. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10am. Interment Riverside Cemetery in Saugus.
