Obituary

Hudson, FL, formerly of Saugus - Mr. Jean L. Gaudreau, age 79, died in Florida on May 9. He was the loving husband of Eleanor (Bernbaum) Gaudreau with whom he shared nearly 60 years of marriage.

Born in Rangeley, Maine, he was the son of the late Alphons and Leah (Godin) Gaudreau. He was a United States Air Force veteran. Before retirement he was a long-time member of the Danvers Fish and Game Association and Blessed Sacrament Parish in Saugus. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his wife, Jean leaves his beloved children, Nanci Hasey and her husband Gary of TN, Gail Gaudreau of FL, Jean Gaudreau, Jr. and his wife Jill of Everett, Marc Gaudreau and his wife Heidi of Wakefield; his brother Billy Gaudreau of NH and his sister Jeannette Fitts of Middleborough; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jean is predeceased by his daughter Marilyn Smith, two brothers, Harvey and Jerry Gaudreau.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to Blessed Sacrament Parish, 14 Summer St., Saugus, MA 01906.

SERVICE INFORMATION
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Wednesday, May 22, 4-7 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m.
