Peabody - James D. Kusch, 84, passed away Thursday, March 7 th, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones at his place of residence, Brooksby Village, in Peabody, MA. He was the husband of Jacqueline A. Kusch (McLean) with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Saugus, Jim was a graduate of Saugus High School (class of ‘52). A USMC Korean War veteran, Jim spent his career as a union carpenter before retirement. He lived the fullest of lives enjoying as many interests and hobbies he could find. A devoted family man, “Puppy” would never balk at a chance to boast about his beautiful wife or his amazing family. His numerous friends and family would say he was always a tease, but his sense of humor and willingness to always lend a hand made him one of the best friends and role models you could ask for.
James is survived by his loving wife Jackie, his three children, Deborah Montaquila and her husband Ron of Hyannis, MA, James Kusch and his wife Ann, of Windham, NH, Heidi Campbell and her husband Carl of Kingston, NH; his sister Lila Boivin of Saugus, MA, as well as 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. His passion for his family was his greatest pride and will live on for many generations to come.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend an hour of visitation in the Bisbee - Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus on Thursday from noon - 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 1 p.m.
