Obituary

SAUGUS – George O. Gregson, Esq., age 81, died on May 8th at his home in Saugus surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Linda (Tillotson) Gregson.

Born and raised in Saugus, he was the son of the late George & Mabel (Sackrison) Gregson. A U.S. Army Korean War veteran, following his military service he attend Boston University and Boston University Law School graduating in 1961. Atty. Gregson served as the Town Manager in Saugus, 1977-1978. He was also affiliated with many associations; the Saugus Lions Club for over forty years, Town of Saugus Finance Committee, past Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of Saugusbank, member of the Essex & Lynn Bar Assoc.

In addition to his wife, George was the beloved father of five children; Jessica Schembri of Saugus, James Gregson & his wife Kimberly of Saugus, Kevin Gregson of Beverly, Lisa Gregson of Beverly & Kris Mazza & her husband Dave of ME; cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild; dear brother of Harold Gregson & his wife Saundra of AK, the late Robert & Richard Gregson, & the late Nancy Lamb. He is also survived by sister-in-law Doris Gregson of AZ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of George to support Dr. Mary-Ellen Taplin's prostate cancer research: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.

SERVICE INFORMATION
Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Friday 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
