Obituary

Saugus, formerly of Chelsea - Mr. Frank J. Galasso died at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose on Friday, May 3rd. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Penta) Galasso.

Born in Revere and raised in Chelsea, Mr. Galasso was the son of the late Costantino and Maria (D’Angelo) Galasso. A U.S. Navy WWII Vet., Frank worked as a book binder for Cuneo Press after the service. He later worked at John Hancock as an electrician for 13 years and Bruhms Tire for several years. Frank had a love of gardening.

Frank is survived by his two children, Lynne St. Amand and her husband Gerard of Merrimack, NH, Francis Galasso of Saugus; three grandchildren, Garrett and Danielle St. Amand, and Larissa Hebert; one sister, Annette McElaney of Needham. He was predeceased by his sister Enes Galasso.

SERVICE INFORMATION
Relatives and friends are invited to attend an hour of visitation in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Thursday 9-10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Margaret’s Church, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus at 10:30 a.m.. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
