Of Saugus, formerly of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away Sunday, October 7. Husband of the late Margaret “Peg” (Cunningham) Wolfe and Concetta “Connie” (Sardella) Wolfe.

Born in County Cork, Ireland, Ed was proud of his Irish heritage. Ed joined the United State Army, serving in World War II and upon returning home married Peg. After the passing of his first wife, he was married to Connie and enjoyed many winters in Port St. Lucie, Florida where they eventually moved full time.

His love for boating was contagious and spread through most of his family, harboring a great appreciation for the ocean. Ed leaves behind his children, Edward J. Wolfe and his wife Elizabeth of Salem, Nancy Duffy and her husband Bernard of Saugus, and Janice McCormack and her husband Daniel J. of Saugus. Along with his children, Ed leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Kelly Vanikiotis and her husband Andy, Kevin Duffy, Eddie Wolfe, Michael Wolfe, Laura McCormack, Daniel McCormack, and Colleen McCormack. He also leaves behind two great grandchildren, Andrew and Joseph Vanikiotis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave, Saugus, on Thursday, October 11 from 4-8pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, October 12 at 11:00am. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Donations in Edward Wolfe’s memory may be made to Care Dimension, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B-102, Danvers MA 01923. Late U.S. Army WWII Veteran.
