Obituary

Saugus ,formerly of North Cambridge - Mrs. Doris A. (Bresnahan) Quinn, age 88, died at the Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody on Wednesday, January 16th. She was the wife of the late William F. Quinn.

Born and raised in North Cambridge, Mrs. Quinn was the daughter of the late Jeremiah F. and Lena (Poirier) Bresnahan. She was a graduate of St. John’s High School.

Doris is survived by two children, Mary Quinn of Martha’s Vineyard and William Quinn and his wife Mary of Saugus; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Christie & her husband Craig, William & his wife Melinda, Christopher, Colleen & her husband Albie & Kelli; 9 great grandchildren, Christa, Brenna, Caitlyn, Caylee, Gavin, Juliette, Akeira, Kiah & Jenna; son in law, Robin Poirier of Winchendon. She was predeceased by her daughter, Joanne Quinn and one sister, Ruth Kimble.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452 or www.alz.org.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Summer St., Saugus at 10:30 a.m.
