Of W. Bridgewater, age 59, February 22. Loving father of Adam Shea of TN, Matthew Shea & Julia Shea both of Saugus. Long time companion of Christine Chadwick of W. Bridgewater. Dear brother of Patricia Leonard of Lynn & her late husband Stephen Leonard, Robert Shea & his wife Eileen Shea of VA, Kevin Shea & his companion Tracey Debay of Revere, Timothy Shea & his wife Jodi of FL. Step-father of Hannah & Cole Chadwick of W. Bridgewater. He was the beloved Uncle of Meaghan Shea, Andrew Shea, Sara Shea, Kyle Shea, Kevin Shea, Christopher Leonard, Michael Leonard, Alanna Martin, Kelly O'Connell, Patrick Shea and many great nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of Kelley (Amico) Shea.

Born in Winthrop and raised in Revere, Donald was the son of the late Donald R. and Helen (Shaughnessy) Shea, Sr. He had worked in operations for U.S. Airways.

It didn’t matter what Boston sports team was making their champion run, Donnie was always watching. Although he loved all Boston sports, his annual trip to watch the Patriots play in Miami was his favorite. Countless vacations all over the globe with family and friends brought much joy to his life. Growing up in the Point of Pines makes the beach a place reminiscent of love, family, friends and coming home.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Friday from 4-7 p.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute at
