SAUGUS, formerly of East Boston – Mr. David C. Bakkari, age 54, died on Sunday, May 7th at the Hunt Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center in Danvers.
Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Charles and Celeste (Todisco) Bakkari. He graduated from Dominic Savio Catholic High School in East Boston followed by studies at Bunker Hill Community College. He was a great story teller who enjoyed making people laugh. He could be described as intellectual, tenacious and persevering as he always found a way to accomplish whatever he set his mind to. He had a wealth of factual knowledge; he knew everything about music and loved good food and great craft beer. David was also an avid collector of many unique items. He is survived by his loving aunt, many cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, May 13th at the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS, 9-10 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
