Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Saugus, MA, and Waterboro, ME - Mrs. Corinne E. (Bianco) Celata died on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the age of 84. She was the loving wife of Michael E. Celata with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage.
Born in Winthrop, Massachusetts, Corinne was the daughter of the late James J. and Emma (Balboni) Bianco. After living in Saugus for most of their married life, as well as residing for a short time in Winthrop, Corinne and Mike enjoyed their retirement at their cottage on Lake Sherburne in Waterboro, Maine, where their grandchildren often visited. Corinne was the glue that held the family together. She showed her love by spoiling her visiting grandchildren and making their favorite dishes. She was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots, watching every game and always calling her brother afterward. More recently, Corinne and Mike lived in a retirement community in Boynton Beach, Florida, where their lives were enriched by many good friends.
Corinne is survived by her three beloved children, Michael A. Celata and his wife Cynthia Warren of New Orleans, LA, Cynthia Freitas and her husband Ken of West Newbury, MA, and Lori Sheridan and her husband Steve of Redondo Beach, CA; six cherished grandchildren, Cara and James Freitas, Olivia and Isabel Celata, and Grant and Bridget Sheridan; her brother, James Bianco, Jr., and his wife Karen of Gilford, NH. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family is grateful for the guidance and services provided by St. Joseph’s Hospice in New Orleans.
