Obituary

Carole Grace (DePino) Scaduto, age 74, passed away on Thursday, April 18th of complications from diabetes. She was the wife of the late Vincent Scaduto.

Born on March 31, 1945 to Leo and Sadie (Shuman) DePino, Carole grew up in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School. She went to work for the phone company until she started her family.

Carole loved to travel and was the best cook. Family was very important to Carole, but her love for her grandchildren was like no other.

Carole is survived by her three children, Leahla Glasser and her husband Paul of Lynnfield, Jason Scaduto of Lynnfield, Jessica Hannon and her husband Tim of Beverly; five grandchildren, Alexander, Autumn, John, Vincent, and Benjamin; one brother, Leonard DePino and his wife Mary Ann of Chino, CA; her cousins, who she loved like sister, Joyce Ferragamo of Boston and Teresa Jefferson of Lancaster, CA; several nieces and cousins.

Carole will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her grandchildren who lovingly called her “Non”.
